Bingo
At Station Casinos, the bingo rooms at each property operate in a very similar manner, sharing promotions and events. The normal customer base is on the older side, with retirees taking up the majority of attendants. There are quite a few branded events that go through the bingo rooms, but their normal specials stay the same. I was originally tasked with a simple update job for this brochure, but upon seeing the design, made over a decade ago, I voiced several usability concerns such as poor contrast, hard to read fonts, and an overall boring feel.
The Solution
I ended up taking up a new goal for this project: design overhaul. I scraped the original design, focusing on a fresh new look incorporating bright colors. I chose blue and yellow to give a professional, fun, entertaining feel while keeping a strong contrast that could be easily read. The font was switched to a thicker sans serif to allow easier readability for older audiences.
