Strike Zone Backlit
Sunset Station has these large signs on all sides of the building, advertising restaurants, venues, or deals, all being more on the evergreen side since they cost a pretty penny to print and cut (they need die cuts because of the unusual frames). At the time of this project, the sign that was up was advertising birthday parties at the Strike Zone, this promotion had been pushed for many years and the team decided it could use a refresh and pivot in messaging.
The Solution
We decided to push the size of the bowling alley, since Strike Zone has the most lanes in the valley. I decided to stick to a lighter background so this piece wouldn’t be quickly burned by the elements, and leaned into a more illustrated style to avoid any resolution issues as this is a large piece. I love driving by the property and seeing the sign hanging near the parking garage, even years later it looks just as good as it did when it was first installed.
