Independence Day

Working in-house at a Casino marketing department means constantly chasing the next holiday or trend. So, every holiday is a new opportunity to remind our guests of what we have to offer, the question is what is the best way to do that? For this piece, we wanted to push all the fun events happening during the 4th of July week, as each of the casinos had different events and offers they wanted to push.


The Solution
So how did we do it? Well, it all goes back to demographics, and for Station Casinos one of the largest groups that is catered to also has a stronger connection to physical mail. That means higher open rates/interaction compared to emails or digital ads. Each piece could act independently, as they would be sent to regulars at each casino. The main consideration was that it be eye catching enough to encourage an open. Physical mail is a fun medium to design for, since you need to heavily consider the users experience and weigh your design choices against other pieces the guest may be receiving.
