Road Features
Potential customers were always asking to see samples, but pictures can only go so far. When the CEO of Substrata, who had traveled quite a bit at the time, wanted to showcase road’s that had used the companies soil stabilization product I was instantly on board. We needed each piece to have a customized intro, using footage from the site, while retaining a consistent look.
The Solution
My boss would record himself talking about roads that had used the product, and document a variety of b-roll on the road, then send all the footage to me to convert to the road feature format. Not only would I work hard editing and color correcting the footage, I also put together consistent intros and outros that would better attract our target market, each with footage customized to the location.
